Be Bitwise

LAUNCHING SOON

THE 777 TIER

On Unix, chmod 644 is read-only. chmod 777 is full access. The 777 tier unlocks every hands-on tool on Be Bitwise: sandboxed compilers, a real debugger, exploit labs, and the rest of the kit.

WHAT YOU UNLOCK

EIGHT HANDS-ON TOOLS

Reading about a buffer overflow is one thing. Popping a shell inside a sandboxed VM at half-two in the morning is another. The 777 tier is where theory meets the keyboard.

Assembly Playground
777

Write x86-64 by hand, assemble to machine code, step through one instruction at a time and watch the registers tick over.

Compiler Explorer
777

Compile C, C++, or Rust and watch the source-to-assembly mapping with line-by-line highlighting. Diff optimisation levels side by side.

Interactive Debugger
777

Step through C and C++ with full execution traces. Registers, stack frames, and memory shift in real time as the program runs.

Exploit Labs
777

Eleven CTF-style challenges in isolated Linux VMs. Buffer overflows, format strings, heap pwn. Find the flag, claim the win.

Practice Sandbox
777

Ephemeral Linux VMs with sixty-plus security tools waiting on the path. gdb, radare2, pwntools, nmap, the usual suspects.

Mitigation Explorer
777

Toggle ASLR, DEP, and stack canaries. Watch the same exploit succeed, half-succeed, or die outright as protections come on.

ROP Gadget Builder
777

Upload an ELF, pull gadgets out of it, and build a ROP chain with a drag-and-drop editor that doesn’t make you cry.

Heap Visualizer
777

Animated malloc, free, realloc. Watch chunks allocate, coalesce, fragment, and corrupt right in front of you.

The curriculum is the mission

Every module, every lesson, every simulation stays free, forever. No gated lessons, no ‘upgrade to unlock chapter 5’. That’s the promise, in writing.

Tools cost money to run

Spinning up isolated Linux VMs, running compilers, holding open debugger sessions — that’s real infrastructure with a real bill. The 777 tier pays for it and keeps the curriculum free.

Priced to be fair

A flat monthly fee that covers the cost of running real infrastructure. Cancel anytime. The goal here is keeping the lights on and the free stuff free, not squeezing you for an extra fiver.

QUESTIONS

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is the curriculum really free forever?

Yes. Every module, lesson, simulation, and checkpoint stays free forever. The 777 tier is purely for the hands-on tools (compilers, debuggers, labs). Skip the tools and you never pay a penny.

When does the 777 tier launch?

Soon. The tools are built and currently in testing. Sign up for a free account and you'll be first to hear when upgrades open.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly or annual, cancel whenever you like — you keep access until the end of the billing period. The free curriculum sticks around either way.

Why is it called the 777 tier?

A play on Unix file permissions. In octal, chmod 644 gives read-only access (our free tier). chmod 777 opens read, write, and execute to everyone, which is roughly what the paid tier hands you: full access to every tool.

Do students or hobbyists get a discount?

The price is already low enough that a discount isn't really on the cards, but if the cost is a genuine blocker, drop a note via the support form and we'll sort something out.
