Be Bitwise

Education Should Be
Accessible to Everyone

Be Bitwise exists because the security industry gatekeeps. Courses cost a fortune, the good knowledge sits behind paywalls, and almost nobody bothers to teach computing from the actual beginning.

Why This Exists

I'm a UK-based security researcher, and I built Be Bitwise because I'm sick to death of watching the industry fleece the people trying to enter it.

Want to learn cybersecurity today? Expect to spend hundreds — sometimes thousands — on courses that quietly skip the fundamentals. They assume you already know how a CPU pipelines instructions, where the stack lives, what the linker actually does. Don't know any of that? Tough.

The people who get hit hardest are the ones trying to break in. Motivated, eager, broke. And they keep getting funnelled into expensive certifications and bootcamps that pretend the bottom of the stack doesn't exist.

Free coding classes? Plenty. Free resources that walk you from binary and logic gates up through CPU architecture, memory, operating systems, networking, and into proper exploitation? Vanishingly rare.

That's the gap Be Bitwise is here to close.

How It's Funded

The curriculum is free, forever. The optional 777 tier pays for the servers running the hands-on tools and keeps everything else free for everyone else.

Free forever644

Every module, lesson, simulation, checkpoint, certificate. All 124 modules, 29 learning tracks, 4 language tracks. No ads. No gated chapters. No card needed.

The 777 tier777

The tools that cost real money to keep running: sandboxed compilers, a step-through debugger, exploit labs inside isolated Linux VMs. £15 a month, cancel whenever.

What We Believe

The Curriculum Stays Free

Every module, every simulation, every lesson. Free forever. No gated chapters, no ‘upgrade to unlock’ nonsense. Stick with the free tier and you’ve still got the full course.

Start From Zero

We assume you know nothing. The curriculum opens with binary and logic gates, then builds upward one concept at a time until you’re writing assembly.

Security Needs To Change

The industry locks knowledge behind pricey certifications. We think understanding how computers actually work should be available to anyone with the time and curiosity.

For All Skill Levels

Total beginner? Start at bit one. Working developer who wants to understand the layer underneath? Skip ahead. There’s a track for you either way.
