About this track
Bluetooth and wireless attacks, mobile malware analysis, enterprise MDM security, and mobile privacy and data protection.
The Mobile Advanced Security track collects 4 modules and 16 lessons into a single ordered path. Each module ends with a checkpoint quiz; passing the checkpoint unlocks the next module so you can track your progress without guessing whether the material has stuck.
You start with "Bluetooth & Wireless Attack Surfaces" and finish on "Mobile Privacy & Data Protection". The whole track sits inside the Mobile Security area of the curriculum, so the writing assumes the prerequisites listed above and skips ground that an earlier track has already covered.
What this track covers
- Bluetooth & Wireless Attack Surfaces — Examine the short-range wireless protocols that surround every mobile device. From BLE pairing weaknesses and GATT exploitation, through NFC relay attacks on contactless payments, to AirDrop privacy leaks and UWB ranging security - understand how proximity protocols create attack surfaces that operate below the application layer.
- Mobile Malware Analysis — Dissect the mobile malware landscape from banking trojans and spyware to state-sponsored zero-click exploits. Learn static and dynamic analysis techniques for Android and iOS, study the architecture of Pegasus exploit chains, and build competence with detection tools from MobSF to Amnesty International's Mobile Verification Toolkit.
- Mobile Enterprise & MDM Security — Navigate the enterprise mobile landscape from MDM protocol architecture and BYOD containerisation through certificate deployment and zero-trust authentication to compliance frameworks and incident response. Understand how organisations manage, secure, and monitor fleets of mobile devices whilst balancing security with user privacy.
- Mobile Privacy & Data Protection — Trace the mobile data supply chain from advertising identifiers and device fingerprinting through location tracking and metadata leakage to the data broker ecosystem and regulatory landscape. Understand how mobile devices generate, expose, and monetise personal data - and the technical and legal mechanisms designed to protect it.
How the track works
Every lesson is a short page with diagrams, runnable examples, and the kind of edge-case footnotes you usually only find in textbooks. Where it makes sense, the lesson is paired with a CPU simulation or a coding challenge so you can poke at the idea instead of just reading about it.
The lessons themselves are free to read with a free account. The 4 checkpoint quizzes that gate the next module are also free, as are the lesson IDE and CPU simulations. Optional 777-tier tools — the step-through debugger, decompiler, ROP gadget builder, heap visualiser, and exploit labs — sit alongside the lessons but are not required to follow the track from start to finish.
You can jump in at any point. Be Bitwise is built around a free forever curriculum, with no time limits and no expiring access. Pick the next lesson when you have an hour; come back when you do not.
